Occupational therapy is a registered health profession focused on assisting people to do everyday activities that matter to them — the “occupations” of daily life. That may be getting dressed, eating well, shopping, gardening or meeting new people. The goal is independence, confidence, and participation.

With over 20 years of experience supporting older adults in mental health, we bring a depth of understanding that only comes from decades of working closely with individuals and families navigating complex life transitions. Our approach begins with listening — taking the time to understand each person’s story, challenges, strengths, and goals so that support feels personal, practical, and meaningful.
We also recognise that wellbeing doesn’t exist in isolation. That’s why our services extend to the people who love and support our clients. We offer mental‑health and chronic‑health education, communication‑skills support, and guidance for navigating Australia’s aged‑care system. Our background spans counselling, physical rehabilitation, and extensive knowledge of aged‑care pathways, allowing us to provide holistic, compassionate, and informed support during times that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

Many private health insurers in Australia offer rebates for occupational therapy, depending on your level of extras cover. The amount you can claim and the number of sessions covered will vary between insurers and policies.
Before your appointment, it’s a good idea to check directly with your health fund to confirm your eligibility and rebate amount. After each session, you can use your receipt to claim your rebate through your insurer.
